✦ status and slot info ✦
✦ regular commissions: QUEUE OPEN!! ✦
✦ [doodle commissions]: QUEUE OPEN!! ✦
batch #006, opening dec. 2nd, 2024

REGULAR ORDERS: 22 slots total
3 active slots, 19 queue slots (dec. 5th: added 10 queue slots!);
DOODLE ORDERS: no slot limit
6 active slots, no queue limit;
PAGEDOLL ORDERS: no slot limit
2 active slots, no queue limit;

queues will remain open until further notice :')

waitlist is CURRENTLY INACTIVE
(yes there are two waitlists!
please check the [waitlist info] page to see how they work!)

✦ all [commission options] are available! ✦
✦✦✦
✦ check [trello] for slot availability! ✦

✦ for regular orders, max of 2 SLOTS per person: for such multiple orders, i'll work on one order at a time per person, and the second order will be moved into the queue :)
✦ doodles and pagedolls have no slot limit per person!! feel free to order as many as you'd like at once. i'll be working on them 6 and 2 at a time, respectively.
✦ up to two characters per slot! the second character incurs a fee of +55% / +65% / +80% of the baseprice, depending on how much of them is visible on the portrait ( bust vs half-body vs fullbody), and if the second character has a very intricate design, that also incurs a separate flat fee of +$15 USD as well. vague references to characters (such as silhouettes) are quite fine and free of charge!!
icons, doodles, pagedolls, and headshot orders are all still one character per order though :')

✦ drawing a familiar or pet is welcome, and free of charge! large companions (think wolf sized, at least) or with very detailed designs cost an extra +$8 to $15 USD. more than one familiar/pet/companion also costs extra per additional lil' guy, also depending on design!

✦ there are no holds! with the queue in place, i can't reserve slots on short-term upon request — please send a form instead, and then i can add you to the queue if there are slots available!!
if you'd like, please do refer to the [waitlist info] !!
✦ [pagedoll commissions]: OPEN!! ✦
✦ general info ✦
✦ digital medium only! the commissioned pieces are all .png files; no physical items will be shipped

✦ payments are in USD only through Paypal invoice, upfront and in full except for orders over $85 USD, in which case the payment can be charged in two invoices instead of just one (one upfront, the other before the artwork is sent to you)

✦ if you'd like to order and you live in Brazil, please let me know!

✦ all files, work-in-progress screenshots or finalized pieces, are intended for personal use only — please contact me directly if you intend commercial use of any kind!

✦ images are sized 3000x3000px, varying between 2600px to 3850px for landscape/portrait formats (mostly up to my discretion with the composition — feel free to point out if you have a preference though!); icons are always 1000x1000px; doodles are always 1000x1000px too, and pagedolls have a minimum height/width of 1000px.

✦ waiting period for the finished piece is 2 months at most! i'll keep you updated through the whole process and at every step. you can also keep track of your order on [trello]!

✦ each major change to the artwork that is requested after the sketch has been approved will incur a fee of $8 to $12 USD, depending on complexity of the requested edits!
✦ requesting a piece to be redone from scratch after the sketch has been approved increases the original price by 60% to 80%!
✦ changes that are not charged: anything before the sketch is approved, big or small, so long as the whole sketch is not redrawn from scratch; details in the provided references that i may have missed or that the client would like to add after discussing the order; small things like extra accessories, slight changes to the pose or expression, small adjustments in color and contrast, etc.
all of this is always discussed individually, and you're always free to point out anything that needs to be tweaked! but please always make sure to voice your thoughts thoroughly before approving the sketch!

✦ finally, if the sketch or sketches presented to you do not look right, and no amount of modifications, big or small, could improve it and you'd need me to start over entirely, i can start a new sketch from scratch for a fee of 35% of the baseprice (you can read more on it [here]!)

✦ i always work on multiple orders at once rather than focusing on a single order from start to finish, as i find it helpful for the commission process. that being said, i do not work on set deadlines, nor do i offer rush orders!
✦ (brief) waitlist info ✦
there are two waitlists! they are both meant for folks who may have missed the first opening of slots, as i usually only work on a small number of orders at a time c:
✦ active slots are the orders that are currently on the works — there's a set number for those (currently 3);
✦ the queue refers to a list of orders i'll be working on back-to-back — requests on the queue list are picked up as work gets finished on the active list;
✦ and the waitlist is simply a list of folks who have reserved slots for a future commission batch.

you can read more about them in the [queue & waitlist] page!
all slots are kept updated over on the [trello board]!

✦✦✦
in any case, all you need to do to apply for a slot is send me the form at the end of this page! we'll discuss your order, and if everything is a-okay, you'll secure a place in the active slots or on either list, if those are open. c:

please do let me know if you have any questions!

-
furries and anthro characters
-
some animals (cats/dogs/birds at least are all fine! i have little to no experience drawing fish or arthropods, for example, so i can't assure the quality of the piece and would have to refuse the order. when in doubt if a commission of your character is possible, always feel free to ask!)
-
plants and flowers of all sorts
-
most human-like characters of all sorts (again, feel free to ask!!)
-
most monsters and Creatures™ (same thing!)

-
mecha/vehicles/intricate armor ([this] sort of armor is fine! in doubt, feel free to ask! chainmail is in fact welcome!! also, prostheses are quite alright, but do feel free to message and check if you're unsure about the design!!)
-

-
custom oc design (neither those!)
-
custom clothing design (please send references!!)
-
more than two characters per portrait (i'm rather new at drawing portraits with more than one character, and though now i feel more comfortable with drawing two folks, more than that is something i'd like to practice more outside of commissions first :") doodles, icons, headshots and pagedolls are still one character only, and there are exceptions for pets/familiars and mild references to other characters, though complex designs for companions or more than one extra familiar may add to the price!! check all info on that [here]!)
✦ general rules ✦
✦ i reserve the right to refuse a commission request without needing to provide a reason. generally i'd only refuse if i feel like i'm not skilled enough for the request, and therefore cannot stand by the artwork's quality. either way, please do not take it personally!
✦ i will not accept private commissions (as in, a commission that i'm not allowed to post anywhere online). i am willing to not disclose information upon request, though, and i can wait a while before posting the finalized piece upon request as well.
✦ i will not do any edits on the artwork after the commission is completed, save for resizing or removing deckled edges. please make sure to voice your thoughts and feedback in the sketch phase and throughout the process!
✦ please do not commission me with a deadline in mind — your piece may take anywhere from a week to a month and a half to finish (waiting period is up to 2 months). if something unrelated comes up that results in a significant delay on your piece, i'll notify you of it! you can [visit trello] to keep track of your piece's progress in between updates.
✦ please keep in mind that i will not try to replicate a fellow artist's style. i'll also make stylistic choices in the commissioned piece due to my own artstyle. i will follow references as closely as i can, and you are free to point out details i missed or didn't get quite right.
✦ how the process works ✦
✦ once i've accepted your order and i'm ready to begin, i'll send you an invoice asking for the payment (in full upfront, or the first half of the payment, if the total price of your order exceeds $85 USD). after i receive that, i'll start working on your piece, starting with character studies based on the references and info you've provided for the order. ✦ i'll send you one or several rough colored sketches (or thumbnails) for you to choose which one you like better; please make sure to review it carefully and let me know if you'd like to change something before greenlighting a sketch! we can stay at this stage for as long as it is needed, no rush c: but please keep in mind that once you greenlight it, i'm not going to start over without a fee! and if none of the sketches look right and there's no fixing them, i can start a new sketch from scratch for 35% of the baseprice of the order. ✦ with a sketch approved, i'll move on to working on the lineart. ✦ once the lineart is done, i'll send you an update again with a screenshot of the piece, along with the color scheme we agreed on in the sketch phase. ✦ if the lineart is approved, i'll move on to coloring. ✦ i'll send another update right before finishing the piece so as to work out last minute details and small changes. ✦ an exception to this system of updates is the experimental option: i will not send WIP/revision updates for those, as the free-form nature of the experimental pieces may not match with the actual stages! ✦ doodles do not have revision rounds, since they are meant to take just about half-hour. pagedolls, despite having their own queue, do abide by the feedback process in the manner described!! ✦ you are always free to request WIP screenshots whenever, for any option! ✦ as mentioned, experimental orders also do not have mid-process revisions; i'll offer edits once the piece is almost done. either way, the progress of experimental orders will always be updated on the trello board as normal! ✦ if your order was to be paid in halves, i'll send the second invoice asking for the rest of the payment once the commissioned piece is all finished up. if you paid in full upfront instead, i'll simply send you the finalized version straight outta the oven c: ✦ you'll receive the full-res images of an unwatermarked version of the drawing, and a resized watermarked version for posting online. c: ✦ i'll eventually post the commissioned drawing on deviantart, tumblr, or any other websites i see fit — if you wish to not be linked to the drawing, of if you'd like me to wait a while before posting it, please do say so ahead of time! ✦ and that's it! :D
✦ about the
commissioned artwork ✦
✦ i keep all the rights to use, make minor edits of (such as resizing and cropping), post online, and showcase the commissioned drawing in any and all websites, portfolios, announcements, etc.
✦ i will not sell nor make merchandise out of the commissioned drawing, and i will make sure to always add info on who commissioned the piece unless requested otherwise.
✦ the commissioned drawing is for personal and non-commercial use only; you may not claim my art as your own, you may not feed it to any learning model, and you may not profit in any way, shape or form from the drawing or any of the sketches and screenshots sent to you. if you intend on commissioning artwork for commercial purposes, please contact me directly first so we may discuss it!
✦ the commissioned drawing is a digital file in .png format; no physical items will be shipped to you.
✦ you keep all the rights to your own original characters, designs, concepts, and stories.
✦ please do not trace, copy or edit the drawing or any of the screenshots sent to you in any way. please do not erase or alter my signature.
✦ you are free to crop/resize the watermarked image, and only the watermarked version may be reposted (with credit) to prevent misuse/theft. icons, doodles and pagedolls do not have watermarks on them (credit is still appreciated!).
✦ you are free to download and keep the remaining sketches and any other WIP screenshots i send you! i ask only that, please, make sure to credit/link back to my profile if you'd like to post any of them anywhere!
✦ payment and refunding ✦
✦ payment is to be made in USD through Paypal invoice, in full and upfront, before work on the project is started. if the total order exceeds $85 USD, the payment can be split into two invoices: half upfront before work is started, and the remaining half before the finalized piece is sent to the client.

✦ all invoices must be paid in up to, but no more than, 7 workdays. if this is ever an issue, please let me know beforehand!
✦ each major change to the artwork that is requested after the sketch has been approved will incur a fee of $8 to $12 USD, depending on the complexity of the request.
✦ requesting the artwork to be redone from scratch after the sketch has been approved increases the final price by 60% to 80%, depending on how far the order was along the commission process. please make sure to voice all of your thoughts in the sketch phase.

✦ if none of the sketches presented could be approved and no amount of modification can fix them, the client may request a new sketch to be made entirely from scratch for a fee of 35% of the order's original price.

✦ any such fees will be charged either in separate invoice (for orders paid upfront) or in the final invoice (for orders split in half).

✦ full refunds are offered only if work on the order cannot be started, or if i am unable to finish it. partial refunds are offered at request of the client in the following rates, according to how much work was finished up until the request was communicated and agreed upon: 60% of the original order will be refunded if the artwork was in the sketch phase, 50% for lineart phase, 25% for coloring and/or finalization phase.

✦ if you abandon the commission at any point after the piece has been paid for, whether in full or in half, or refuse to pay the second half of the payment or any applying fees, the artwork will not be finished nor delivered, and online archives of its updates will be deleted. i will also refuse to work with you in the future.
✦ any issues with payment due to external reasons such as financial difficulties can be discussed, so please do not hesitate to contact me!
✦ if you're interested... ✦
check out the commission options!!
and if commissions are currently open, contact me on [deviantart] through notes or chat or send a dm on [tumblr] with the following information, or fill out the form that's just below this next box!

also, if you're looking to order only just doodles, there's a simpler form you can use [here]!!
paypal email: (so that i can send you the invoice!!)

type of commission: (doodle, pagedoll, icon, lineart, headshots, flatcolors, grayscale, basecolors, or fullcolors? if experimental, are you looking for the rougher option, or for the more detailed portraits? if it's an icon, would you like a fully colored one, or a grayscale one?)
type of portrait: (bust, half-body, or full-body? icons are just icons, so you can skip this line in that case c: same for headshots and doodles! pagedolls are always full-body. experimental commissions don't really apply here either, though i'll definitely take preferences into consideration, so do note them down if you'd like!)
description/ideas: (please write a description of what you want from this piece! what sort of mood / expression / pose / color palette / lighting / etc. do you have in mind, if any? do send any ideas for composition and other elements even if they feel vague; we will work together on shaping your order! c:
lastly, experimental orders are meant to be Artistic Freedom™ Illustrations, and therefore they do not adhere much to this part, but please do feel free to tell me anything you'd like about the character and their story, or about any traits of theirs, or a general mood you'd like to see!
for doodles, please keep in mind that the time limit may not allow anything too elaborate — we can discuss this before beginning tho!)
reference links: (other than character sheets, these can be palettes, pictures of outfits, pose references, moodboards, etc.! feel free to send reference links as you find most convenient, such as through sta.sh links, or Google Drive folders, toyhou.se links, and so on! also, please keep in mind i won't work with text-only descriptions/references, nor will i design characters/clothing/etc.!! also-also, the character's reference doesn't need to be a Complete Character Sheet™ with a 360º of your character but please make sure that the sheet is colored, or send a specific palette you'd like to see! if you have a quick sketch or doodle of what you have in mind [again, even if it's just stick figures!], it would be greatly appreciated if you linked it too!)
and if you're interested in ordering but commissions are closed (or if you'd just like to say hi!), feel free to contact me on [deviantart] or on [tumblr], or use the contact form below instead — i'll let you know as soon as commissions are back open!!
