✦ queue & waitlist ✦

there are two waitlists! the queue and the (proper) waitlist.

they are both meant for folks who may have missed the first opening of slots, as i usually only work on a small number of orders at a time c:

this page has all the info on the two.

✦ recent changes ✦

from january on, queue and waitlist rules have changed to allow folks who were part of an ongoing batch to order again, if there were unoccupied slots when the queue hit its closing deadline.

also, now folks can request any number of slots at once — the difference is that anything after the second order will be moved to the queue list, and i'll work through two orders at a time per person.

let me know if you have any questions!

i'm happy to clarify things!!

keep track of slot progress and availability on trello!

✦ the current queue ✦

✦ who is the queue for?

  • primarily anyone who missed the regular slots, but also just for anyone else, for any other reason!

  • the point of the current queue is to let folks who missed the first opening have the opportunity to still grab slots, rather than having to wait until a new batch comes around, as well as limiting how many orders i'm working on at the same time.

✦ how it works

  • the current queue is a short-term sort of waitlist: as soon as i finish working on a regular slot, the first person on the current queue will be contacted, so that we may continue their order.

  • this will go on until the current queue list is empty.

  • i'll always be working on at least five to seven orders all at once, and as one gets all finished up, i start another.
    short-term waitlist. c:

  • when your turn comes up, i'll send you a message so that we may continue your order! please respond within five days. past that, you will be skipped and moved to the bottom of the list, and the next person in the queue list will be contacted.

  • if you fail to respond to follow-ups, you will eventually be removed from the list.

  • you may request to be skipped if you'd like, and you may request to leave the queue at any time! just send me a message c:

✦ important notes

  • the queue has a dedicated number of slots, and a closing date.

  • once closed, the queue will only open when a new batch comes around.

  • there's no limit of orders per person, however, i'll be tackling a single person's orders two at a time. so if you order three commissions, the third one will be moved to the end of the queue c:

  • you will not be charged while being in the queue. i'll be asking for payment only once your order comes up and i can effectively work on it.

  • the waiting time in the queue is 2 and half months at most, though i tend to work fast. i'll keep you updated!

  • in case a queue list closes with slots still available, and if you have placed an order in the ongoing batch already and would like to be placed on the queue again, you are free to send another form for extra orders!

✦ the next batch's waitlist ✦

✦ who is the waitlist for?

  • primarily for anyone who missed both the active slots and the queue slots, or just for anyone else, for any other reason!

  • the waitlist is a long-term, old-fashioned waiting list: the people on it will be contacted shortly before commissions are reopened, and will have slots reserved for them if they wish to continue.

✦ how it works

  • once all active slots and current queue slots have been taken, the next batch's waitlist opens (as long as there are set plans for a reopening!)

  • this list has a limited number of slots, as well as a closing date.

  • when i contact you, please respond within seven days to confirm the slot reservation!

  • if you don't reply in time, you will remain on the waitlist rather than being moved to that batch's active slots or queue slots.

  • you can be skipped up to three times, and past that, you'll be removed from the waitlist.

  • you may request to leave the waitlist at any time! just send me a message c:

✦ important notes

  • there's no limit to waitlist slots per person, but any more than two slots will automatically be placed on the next batch's queue.

  • anyone may apply, even if they were in the previous active slots/queue slots.

  • also, depending on the amount of people on the waitlist and how many active slots i plan on opening for a new batch, your order(s) may end up in the queue instead of the active slots. your turn will come regardless, it just might take a little longer.

  • you will not be charged while being in the waitlist.

  • the waiting time is 3 months at most, depending on workload and IRL events. i'll keep you updated!

thank you for reading, and let me know if you have any questions!!
